The heated swimming pool is leased to ATKV Hartenbos by Hartenbos Seefront. Due to structural challenges with the roof, Hartenbos Seefront has assumed responsibility for its replacement. The removal of the asbestos roof commenced in September 2025, and the installation of the new roof has now been completed.
The next step is to apply to the municipality for permission to refill the swimming pool, in light of the current water restrictions. Should this application be successful, further work will be required to restore the building, pool, and heating system to a fully operational condition. ATKV Hartenbos will make the heated swimming pool available to guests again once all construction work has been safely and fully completed.
If the project continues according to plan, reopening is currently anticipated for a later stage in 2026. The safety of our guests remains our highest priority at all times.

ATKV-Hartenbos offers a variety of accommodation options, including self-catering apartments and a caravan park, catering to different family sizes and needs.
Entertainment
Guests can enjoy a water park, swimming pools, mini-golf and volleyball courts. There is also direct access to the beach and various activities in the surrounding area.
